First of all, please allow us to wish you all a very happy and prosperous 2009. It is the new year, bringing us here, at the Ratiu Foundation / Romanian Cultural Centre in London, new and exciting projects, and also some changes.

After a very long, productive and pleasant time spent in our Regent Street offices, we decided to move half of a mile to the north and slightly towards the west, having now as our distinguished neighbour the famous Wallace Collection in Manchester Square. We are also a stone-throw away from Oxford Street/ Bond Street station, Selfridges, Wigmore Hall and Marble Arch station, near Hyde Park.

2009 is a festive year for us, since the Ratiu Foundation celebrates its 30th anniversary (being established by Ion and Elisabeth Ratiu in 1979), and the Cultural Centre its 15^th (established in 1994 by a group of UK-based Romanians). We are preparing a number of major surprises to mark these special occasions. Watch this space for more information!

As soon as we are all settled in our Fitzhardinge Street offices and familiarise ourselves with the place, we plan to throw a memorable party, where everyone is invited. More details soon.
